Imola, CIV: Dionisi, Tamburini, Cruciani. Then?

After five seasons of absence, the Imola circuit will return Sunday to do wonderful theater of the Italian Championship. The historic track will challenge members to the seven categories, which will give our best to bring home a major victory in 2006 was imposed in the Supersport Gianluca Vizziello (Yamaha), ahead of Alessandro Antonello (Kawasaki) and Camillo Mariottini (Honda ). Next Sunday will be three more, probably, to play for as many steps of the podium. We’re talking about Ilario Dionisi, Stefano Cruciani and Roberto Tamburini.
Defending champion Dionisi (Honda – Improve Scuderia) will by his desire to replicate the victory at Mugello with the number one “virtual” on its hull. Strong points of the 25 centered in Tuscany, Ilario will try to make a difference on a track that has always excited, especially during World Cup races of 1000 Stock.
To try to give him a hard time will be Stefano Cruciani: the lifer has appeared really fit in the first round of Mugello and riding the Kawasaki Racing Puccetti has close to victory by just two seconds. Certainly do it again in Imola, a strong character and a fierce feeling with Kawasaki already very good since the first race (unlike the 2011) that will allow him to leave immediately to the attack.
Will also attack the Romagna rider, Roberto Tamburini, who will come to Imola with an advantage over the two rivals: the Honda, the former Italian champion in the class has during the last round of the Supersport World Championship, hitting a positive fourth place just a few tenths from the podium stage. Unlike rivals, Tambu could find an advantage in terms of development and the race pace even if there is to be reported almost all the protagonists of the CIV played here three weeks ago a challenging three-day official pre-season testing.
Among others, performances by the top five are expected by Mirko Giansanti (Kawasaki – Puccetti Racing), who finished fourth at Mugello in front of the wild-card Gramigni. Eyes on the Russian Vladimir Leonov also (Yamaha – Yakhnich MS) and the desire for revenge Alessio Palumbo (Honda – Velmotor) only eighth in Tuscany. About ransom, waiting at a test well by the Superstock 600 champion, Dino Lombardi, author of a convincing performance this weekend in Imola world stage riding a Yamaha Team Pata by Martini.
